Idea to parents re how we can all stay in touch

Parents and children
We are thinking of ways to help the children stay in touch with nursery and help the ones at home and the ones in setting to still feel connected. One suggestion has been to have a closed Facebook group for nursery families during this time period so that we can keep in touch and share the learning and development at nursery and at home with one another. Could families get in touch with me with their thoughts and confirm if they would like to take part. You can email me on the nursery contact.

I hope your first day at home has been full of fun activities. It has felt very strange in setting for us all but we are working hard on planning new routines for the children who are in and how to support the children at home.
In setting today the children have been making their rainbow and it has gone up in the Early Years window. We have had messy play with shaving foam outside and a hand wash role play to teach the children and talk to them about why we should wash our hands. There has been building activities with the stickle bricks and threading with the butterflies.
We are planning on joining in with Jo Wicks tomorrow and doing our PE lesson. Hope you all are too.

Speak to you all tomorrow
